Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Quantyle ("Quantyle", "we", "us" or "our"), an online platform that helps students prepare for selective school and scholarship entrance tests. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you are a parent or guardian setting up an account for a child, you accept these Terms on their behalf.

1. Eligibility and accounts

• Accounts for students who are minors should be created and supervised by a parent or guardian.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login details secure.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
• One account is for use by one student; accounts may not be shared, resold or used by multiple students.

2. The service

Quantyle provides practice tests, questions, explanations, writing prompts with automated feedback, progress tracking and related tools. We may add, change or remove features over time to improve the platform. Question banks are generated and curated by us; while we work hard to keep content accurate and aligned with current test formats, Quantyle is a preparation tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official product of any education department or testing authority.

3. Subscriptions and payment

• Some features require a paid subscription. Plans are sold for a fixed term (for example 1, 3, 6 or 12 months).
• Subscriptions are one-time purchases and do not automatically renew. Your access runs for the term you bought and then ends unless you choose to renew.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout and may include applicable taxes.
• We may change prices or plan options from time to time; changes do not affect a term you have already purchased.
• Refunds are handled under our Refund & Billing Policy.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not copy, scrape, redistribute, sell or publish our questions, explanations or other content.
• Do not share your account or give others access to paid content without a valid subscription.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service or its systems.
• Do not use the service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Intellectual property

All content on Quantyle — including questions, passages, explanations, writing prompts, software, design and branding — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the content for your own exam preparation while your account is active. No other rights are granted.

6. No guarantee of results

Quantyle is a study aid. While our materials are designed to build the skills tested in selective and scholarship exams, we cannot and do not guarantee any particular test score, ranking, placement or admission outcome. Results depend on many factors outside our control.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but it may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We are not liable for any unavailability, but we will make reasonable efforts to restore the service promptly.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Quantyle and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached — for example, through content theft, account sharing, or misuse. Where we end your access for a serious breach, fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

9. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded. Subject to those rights, to the extent permitted by law our liability arising from your use of Quantyle is limited to re-supplying the service or refunding the amount you paid for the relevant subscription term, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

10. Privacy

Your use of Quantyle is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and handle personal information.

11. Your content and submissions

When you submit writing responses or other text to Quantyle, you keep ownership of what you write. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide the service — for example, to mark your work, generate feedback and show your history. You are responsible for what you submit and must not submit anything unlawful, offensive, or that infringes someone else's rights.

12. Third-party services

Quantyle relies on trusted third-party providers (such as Stripe for payments, and our hosting and email providers) and may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content, products or practices of third parties, and their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

13. General

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Billing Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Quantyle regarding the service. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another entity (for example, as part of a business sale) without affecting your rights. Any suggestions or feedback you provide about the service may be used by us without any obligation to you.
